Selection procedure – Researcher

Director of Earth Science Institute of Slovak Academy of Science (ESI) put up a post for competition for scientific worker of the Department of Geomagnetism of ESI

Specification of work contract: fix term contract, work location – Bratislava, SK

Salary: salary range according to the provisions in force and working experience according to the act of parliament nb. 318/2018.

Requirements on candidate:

 University Education + PhD with specialization in: Geophysics, Mathematical methods in Geophysics

 5 years of exerience in Geomagnetismus

 Scientific research praxis in branch: 4 years (by counting period preferably after getting the PhD)  in  Geomagnetismus, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Modeling of Rotating Magnetoconvection, Dynamo theory

 documented self-active scientific work, including publishing in scientific jornals

 expected cooperation on problems in Modeling of Rotating Magnetoconvection connected to the geomagnetic field generation in the frame of APVV-16-0482 project

 good level of English
